MotherWoman recognized by APHA at national conference

Research topics to be presented November 2017

MotherWoman is pleased to announce that the efforts we are taking to improve the care and support for mothers is being nationally recognized at the prestigious American Public Health Association (APHA) annual conference. The APHA conference brings together public health professionals around the country to highlight innovative health research and evidence-based practices, products and programs. MotherWoman was selected to present at the conference on three topics this year, including the MotherWoman Support Group Model, Evaluation of Community Efforts to Address Perinatal Mental Health and an oral presentation on the Massachusetts Pregnant Workers Fairness Act. A special thank you to the acting executive director, Linda O’Connell and MotherWoman board members, Shelly Smith and Dayna Campbell for making this amazing opportunity a reality.

Your support is critical to ensuring that these nationally recognized programs are able to continue to grow and impact the mothers and women that deserve the best care available. We thank you for your continued support.
