About the Guidebook

This official facilitator guidebook, developed by the Women of Color Health Equity Collective and the Public Health Institute of Western Massachusetts, is designed to support individuals, teams, and organizations in addressing racial inequities within the workplace.

Created to accompany the video “Preparing for Change: A Journey in Racial Equity Capacity Building,” the guidebook can also be used independently to foster meaningful dialogue and action.

Through real-world scenarios, guided exercises, and facilitator notes, it provides practical tools to build racial equity capacity, develop inclusive policies, and promote a more just and equitable work environment.

Whether you’re starting the conversation or deepening existing efforts, this resource empowers users to take intentional steps toward lasting change.
