Advocacy Plan Project
The membership and advocacy interns held a focus group in order to gain insight about the advocacy issues the members of the collective are passionate about. Through asking questions, they learned that some of the issues include black maternal health, equal access to healthcare, and transgender care. They will take this information and research conducted from board member Vanessa Martinez’s Anthropology class in order to develop a advocacy plan for the collective.

MA Indigenous Agenda
The MA Indigenous Agenda is a agenda to get various bills passed in relation to Native American Heritage. These include:
- An Act Prohibiting the Use of Native American Mascots by Public Schools in the Commonwealth (Senate Bills S.294 & House Bill H.581)
- An Act to Protect Native American Heritage (House Bills H.3377 & H.338 Senate Bills S.2239 & S.2240)
- An Act providing for the creation of a permanent commission relative to the education of American Indian and Alaska Native residents of the Commonwealth (House Bill H.582)
- An Act Establishing An Indigenous Peoples Day (Senate Bill S.2027 & House Bill H.3191)
- An Act providing for the creation of a permanent commission relative to the education of American Indian and Alaska Native residents of the Commonwealth (House Bill H.582)

Global Vaccine Equity
Currently, roughly 90% of people in low-income countries do not have access due to a manufactured global vaccine scarcity, creating more variants and loss of life. The goal of this project is to find solutions on how to provide vaccine access to low-income countries.
